Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GrpStage ("the Service," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including league creators and participants.

2. Description of Service

GrpStage is a skill-based prediction platform that allows users to create and join private prediction leagues for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Participants predict the outcomes of matches. The participant with the most correct predictions at the end of the tournament wins the prize pool. Outcomes are determined entirely by participant knowledge and skill — this is not a game of chance.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use GrpStage. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. You are solely responsible for determining whether participating in a skill-based prediction league for money is lawful in your jurisdiction. GrpStage is not available where prohibited by law.

4. Entry Fees, Prize Pool & Platform Fee

Entry fees are set by the league creator and collected at the time of joining. All entry fees are pooled together to form the prize pool.

GrpStage retains 25% of the total prize pool as a platform fee. This fee covers payment processing costs (charged by Stripe), match data services, and platform operations. This fee is disclosed clearly before payment is made.

The remaining 75% of the prize pool is paid out to the winner. In the event of a tie, the prize pool is split equally among tied participants.

5. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. GrpStage does not store your payment card details.

Entry fees are non-refundable once the league tournament has begun. If a league is cancelled before the first match of the tournament, participants will receive a full refund of their entry fee, minus any non-recoverable payment processing fees.

Payouts to winners are processed within 24 hours of a valid claim being submitted. GrpStage reserves the right to request identity verification before releasing a payout.

To receive a payout, winners must have an active Interac e-Transfer or PayPal account. GrpStage is not responsible for failed transfers resulting from incorrect or invalid payment details provided by the winner.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, including a display name that is not misleading or impersonating another person.

7. Fair Play

Users may not attempt to manipulate the outcome of any prediction, exploit bugs or errors in the platform, create multiple accounts, or engage in any form of collusion. GrpStage reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be acting in bad faith and to forfeit their prize eligibility without refund.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use GrpStage to engage in fraudulent activity, violate any applicable law or regulation, harass other users, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or its systems, or use automated tools to interact with the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GrpStage and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to GrpStage in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
